Victoria made it through the Sunken Cityand has moved on to battle in Krokotopia. Yeah! Here you will enter the desert islands of Krokotopia where Egyptian themed crocodile’s and enemies will try to thwart your wizard at every turn.
Now there are some helpful hints about starting your journey through the desert land of Krokotopia. First, talk to everyone before you start any battles. You will receive a ton of quests that require you to run over here and talk to this guy, go back over there and talk to that guy, pick up equipment, find boxes and so on and so on. By the time you do all these non-battle quests; you’ll gain enough experience to level up! It’s well worth the effort!
Don’t forget to check in with your school’s professor from time to time to get your next spell. The ones you get here running around in Krokotopia are cards you’ll use throughout your game journey.
In your running around talking to people you should find Prospector Zeke near the Oasis Library. Here he will give you the quest to find theBeetles. Don’t forget to get this quest and look for the beetles. Like all the other Zeke quests, he’ll give you a training point when you complete his task.
Krokotopia doesn’t have a Spiral Book quest. There is a short history quest that you complete by talking to the Manders. Even though there isn’t a book quest, you will make up for that by running around and doing other non-battle quests. Continue reading →
It has been a long time since one of my wizards was an apprentice. But I don’t remember it taking to long into the battle for Wizard City to get the quest for the books on The History of Magic. I certainly don’t remember them coming after the battle with Lady Blackhope for the History of Life magic. I feel like I’ve missed something, but I’m not sure what. The journey continues through the weekend and I’m sure it will pop up eventually.
I’ve started a page to share the guides for the Spiral Books. So stay tuned.
In the meantime, Victoria is enjoying her ride through Wizard City, Triton Avenue and Cyclops Lane on her permanent mount. Wouldn’t it be great if we could ride around on our own Horned Sweeper?!
Update: Seems I was missing something. Check out the new guide for the History of Magicbook quest.
Victoria Fireheart Levels Up Apprentice Pyromancer 8
Taking a break from writing I decided to play with my new fire wizard. During the evening she became a Level 8 wizard. Received a pet gift and a permanent mount from one of my other wizards.
Meet Smokey, the Heckhound. The perfect companion for a fire wizard!
He’s still a baby, but he is on his way to becoming a teen and a very helpful battle companion!
This weekend Victoria and Smokey will be journeying through Triton Avenue and Cyclops Lane.
One of the changes in the game that experienced Wizards may notice comes in the form of quests to visit your school’s professor. Used to be when you leveled up and qualified for a new spell, your professor would send you a message to come see them. They don’t do that now. So as you level up make sure you take time to visit your school and get your new spells. Take note of the training display and you’ll know which levels you should go back and check in.
Our blog is only 5 days old, but we’ve completed several items already.
We’re working on help guides for finding Prospector Zeke’s lost items. Some may call these spoilers because they are detailed and include a map to help wayward wizards easily find the objects. So if you only want cryptic help, don’t go to these pages!
